Bunch of Grape-Like Shape PANI/Ag2O/Ag Nanocomposite Photocatalyst for Hydrogen Generation from Wastewater

Polyaniline (PANI) and PANI/Ag2O/Ag composites I II were prepared under different AgNO3 oxidant concentrations using the oxidative photopolymerization method. The chemical structure optical, electrical, morphological properties determined for nanocomposite. composite has optimum optical properties, in which bandgaps of PANI, I, are 3.02, 1.71, 1.68 eV, respectively, with morphology a bunch grape-like shapes average particles sizes 25 nm. Under glass/PANI/Ag2O/Ag electrode is used hydrogen generation from sewage water. measurements carried out three-electrode cell xenon lamp. effects light wavelengths temperature on produced current density ( J ph ) mentioned. applied voltage (at 30°C), values id="M2"> increase 0.003 to 0.012 mA.cm-2 dark light, respectively. While increasing temperature, id="M3"> 0.032 mAcm-2 at 60°C. thermodynamic parameters calculated, activation energy id="M4"> E a ), enthalpy id="M5"> Δ H ∗ entropy id="M6"> S 27.1 kJ·mol-1, 24.5 J mol-1, 140.5 K-1 Finally, simple mechanism rate very cheap (1$ id="M7"> 12 c m 2 electrode.
